About VehicleCounters.comVehicleCounters.com was created to help people decide which vehicle counters are right for them in an unbiased format. Online there is a serious lack of easy-to-find information available about vehicle traffic counters or just traffic counting in general. The purpose of this site is to fill that void, and gather together as much information as we can to help out people in the traffic counting industry. We will do our best to cut through marketing hype and to get bits of information which is -- whether on purpose or not -- not easily available for just anybody to see. On March 29, 2007 we officially launched our counter and manufacturer databases on the site for all to browse. We will be adding more features to the site and even expanding the types of counters that we have available on the site to include manual counters (such as turning movement counters), permanent counters, and perhaps even people and trail counters. Development is in progress for the next few items to be added to the site, including a way to post reviews on traffic counters and manufacturers. Pricing information on various counters, including bid pricing, is being gathered and will be available for all to view. We will be adding more articles and links to articles and other useful resources in short time. There is much more to come. If you have any feedback for us or would like to supply us with any information that is related to traffic counters or about traffic counting, then please contact us.
